A reminer what not to do...
The software to update the DM4Installer2 Firmware installs in the Windows 10 Documents folder 2 files, "Installer_64" and "Installer_86". I did not know this and I clicked on them to see what they were for, and it fouled up the software to update the firmware, I had to re-install the update software...Do not click on these files...
Re: A reminer what not to do...
Firstly, it installs them where you tell it to install them.
Secondly, what on earth are you doing running executables "to see what they are for"? The golden rule for computing is to quarantine and leave well alone if you don't know what it is!

There are only 10 kinds of people in the world: those who understand binary and those who do not.

The installer does not mention those 2 files, so I did not know where they came from...the installer mentions other files and I of course knew where those went...
