Since DMCP_flash_3.9a.bin my beta unit depletes the CR2032 in a matter of hours. I was using (and still do) DMCP_flash_3.8.bin + DM42-3.9.1.pgm; this is stable and shows a normal battery wear.

Alas, the new DM42-3.10.pgm needs a DMCP >= 3.9 so the update game has come to an end for me, or so it seems. :|

Has anybody seen a similar behaviour? Am I the only one?

I have not experienced unusual battery drain on my beta unit through any of the updates. Out of curiosity, have you soldered the jumper that was described by Michael when production units shipped? I have not done so yet.

Hi,

flawless and smooth update without any hickup here.
I used the combined file and the update from FAT
and a LINUX-system as base.

With D&M&T there is more often Christmas a year, I think... :)
Thanks a lot for the great update and the great support.

Cheers!

Didn't solder anything. I wrote to Michael hoping he comes out with a magic trick...
What's strange is that it all began with:
DMCP v3.9 : 2018/08/01
Small number of boards exhibited excessive power-off current - fixed
Mine seems to be the only board with the reverse attitude...

We've actually got a handful of machines like this now. David has them and is looking for a software solution.

Now that he has them physically in his hands, he can diagnose the problem.

Good to know I'm not alone! ;)
Ok, now that I know that they are working on this issue I can quietly wait for a solution.

Thank you.
