The Free42 web site has moved; its new URL is http://thomasokken.nl/free42/.
When you visit the old URL, you'll get a page telling you about the move and the new URL. This announcement is just to let people know that there isn't anything nefarious going on.
And to point Google in the right direction.

Re: Free42 web site has moved
Not that I would, but if you try via this place , the link is broken (cos it still points to .com presumably)

I'm not sure whether that updates given time, but just thought you'd like to know

Re: Free42 web site has moved
Mirrors will have to sort this out on their own. I couldn't notify them all because most of them never make their existence known to me.
That's why I put the "we've moved" placeholder pages at my old domain, so that humans can see what is going on. At some point, I'll change those to perform an immediate automatic redirect instead, and then, after the new site has made it to the top of the Google results for "Free42," I'll kill off the old site and domain altogether.

It looks like some registrar is squatting on free42.com, but free42.org seems to be available!

I think Free42 is, or used to be, an ISP somewhere, or a cable company, in South America maybe... I don't remember. Anyway, they can have it. One domain is enough for me.

Re: Free42 web site has moved
I moved the web site back to thomasokken.com. I decided I liked my old hosting provider better, and that the change to .nl was causing too much confusion. My apologies for the inconvenience!
Re: Free42 web site has moved
I hadn’t even noticed. I had a tab open in Chrome, and it automatically updated to the new URL when I refreshed it. So, no inconvenience at all. I also see you’ve recently updated Free42 to version 2.0.21. Time for another DM42 firmware update !
