Snail mail from the US of A abroad seems a bit slower and very complicated.
I was just happy I received it in the end. :)

I visited my proctologist recently. I, however, was not happy to receive it in the end. :o
A good health insurance is worth every dollar. (Sorry Obamacare was cut back by D.T. recently)

BTW, I was talking about mailing *from* the US of A *abroad*.
WP43 SN00000, 34S, and 31S for obvious reasons; HP-35, 45, ..., 35S, 15CE, DM16L S/N# 00093, DM42β SN:00041

I’m one time zone West of you.
I ordered on Feb 1, haven’t seen it yet, but am hoping for a delivery next week.
If you are having it delivered to your residential address, you might check the USPS "Informed Delivery" dashboard to see if it is incoming. It is likely that it will come through the L.A. port of entry. I am having mine delivered to my work, so I am not able to see it inbound.

Thanks, but how can you check with USPS informed delivery? Dont you need a tracking number?
I too am having it delivered to my work (San Jose), because there have been times packages are stolen from front porches.

No, you don't need a tracking number for Informed Delivery. You register your address with the service and provide some kind of proof of residence using your name and some other identifying material, and then the USPS will proactively notify you of incoming packages even if you do not have their tracking numbers beforehand. It is similar to programs like UPS MyChoice and FedEx Delivery Manager. You also get more detailed and quicker updates when using these services because they figure the risk of giving you details is less if you're the genuine recipient.

I ordered on 3 Feb to the west coast of the US. I have not received any shipping information and there are no incoming packages when I check the USPS Informed Delivery. All I see is past deliveries, which is not very helpful.

It takes at least one week to arrive. It'll arrive in a few days ...
