If the RADiation is not strong enough you need some DEGree of GRADitude right now, isn't it?

Hi,

ok...it is late and I feel somehow fuzzy...

With our beloved DM42 there are three modes: DEG, RAD and GRAD.

To convert from
DEG to RAD use: use mode DEG and then ->RAD
RAD to DEG use: use mode RAD and then ->DEG
GRAD to DEG use: use mode GRAD and then ->DEG
GRAD to RAD use: use mode RAD and then ->RAD
DEG to GRAD use: use mode DEG and then...pencil and paper
RAD to GRAD use: use mode RAD and then...pencil and paper

"pencil and paper" read as "use your DM42 to calc it by yourself" ;)

Why we are missing to forms of conversions...or do I miss something and
it is really late and me is fuzzy actually?

Cheers!
Meino

No special need for a function since conversion deg <-> grad is done by multiplying with or dividing by 0.9?

Err... If your DM42 behaves like that it must have a bug...

->RAD and ->DEG convert solely between degrees and radians. ->RAD divides X by 180/π and ->DEG multiplies X by 180/π. See pages 334 and 335 of the HP-42S manual.
