Hi there.
First of all - I _love_ this thing...
I'm running into a strange behaviour (?) where if I delete all of my VARS, it will not save a state file - it will return with a state file corrupt error message.
It doesn't seem to be a problem with saving a state file with no VARS - just if I delete them all before attempting to save a state file. I can provide a state from which I am coming from. The procedure to duplicate would be to CLV all vars and then attempt to save a state.
btw, running the latest update 3.5
Anyone else running into this?

Re: State file corrupt is REGS deleted
Are you also deleting the "REGS" variable? If so, that could be why. It shouldn't cause a problem for the machine state file but I'd like to point the developer in the right direction.

There are only 10 kinds of people in the world: those who understand binary and those who do not.
Re: State file corrupt is REGS deleted
Sorry - I posted this before I could change the Subject title.
After some more experimentation, it's not the the REGS var that seems to be the issue - just that all the VARS are deleted, and then a state file saved.
