Firmware V23 for DM1x/DM41(L) units

Post by grsbanks »

Firmware V23 has been released for the DM10, DM11, DM12, DM15, DM16 and the DM41. And their "L" counterparts.

Improvements include:
  • Master reset ([ON]+[<-]) now works on the DM41(L)
  • The memory dump has been updated to include the S register of the Nut CPU, which means that the DM12's BEGIN/END mode of operation is retained.
  • You can set the clock via the O/S, without having to hook up to the serial console
Instructions for setting the clock are as follows:
  1. With the power switched off, press and hold the first key in the second row. So, that's
    • [%] on the DM10
    • [SST] on the DM11 and DM15
    • [Y^X] on the DM12
    • [GSB] on the DM16
    • [X<>Y] on the DM41
  2. Press and release the [ON] key then release the other key.
  3. The display will show information analogous to 2017-06-12 14:01:09 with the year flashing.
  4. Press the [+] and [-] keys to increment or decrement the value flashing. Press [×] and [÷] to shift to the next or previous field to alter.
  5. Note that pressing [+] or [-] with the seconds flashing will simply reset the seconds to 00.
  6. Save the new date and time by pressing [ON] or [ENTER]. The calculator will switch off.
Instructions for the firmware update and the firmware itself are provided here: http://www.swissmicros.com/firmware.php
