Thanks for your useful videos. Unfortunately mine does not have this behavior, and I believe the problem is on SwissMicros side.

[DM41] Should alarms turn DM41 on ?
Re: [DM41] Should alarms turn DM41 on ?
My DM-41 works without problems with the firmware version V25 and XYZALM, but also with the previous versions. I always use the HP-41 Ultimate Alarm Clock (UAC) from Geir Isene. I work with CLK24 and DMY on 12MHz.

I confirm that your DM41L has a strange behavior!pinkman wrote: ↑Mon Feb 26, 2018 10:00 pmThanks for your useful videos. Unfortunately mine does not have this behavior, and I believe the problem is on SwissMicros side.

Re: [DM41] Should alarms turn DM41 on ?
I don't think it's only mine, apparently recent DM41 and DM41L models have an issue with the RTC, as I received a defective DM41 replaced by a defective DM41L. Or I am particularly unlucky...
The symptoms are :
- DM41 : alarms not working properly, clock not working (either [A]+[ON] or [f][ON]), stopwatch not working (XEQ SW then R/S and ENTER, etc.)
- DM41L : alarms not working properly, clock working, stopwatch working
