Hi all,
Do the fonts of the DM1x/41L come standard in the LCD ROM? or are they conveyed through the firmware?
if its conveyed through the firmware...
- instead of (normal, bold, square) for the DM1xL can't we have rather (normal, bold, HP-1X font)
- and instead of only (normal) for DM41L (normal, HP41 font)?
it would be soooo nice to be able so simulate the original fonts (if copyright permits of course)
Sincerely,
Boubker.

Re: Question about fonts
The not so small pixels don't allow much nicer fonts.
Please feel free to make a nicer font with the same amount of pixels and we could include it ... good luck with it.

Re: Question about fonts
Is there any means of changing the font on the 41L? I know the larger 41 ROM eats up the space needed for extra fonts, but even just alternative firmware images with different fonts would be nice. I much prefer the bold (2nd) font on my 16L.

Re: Question about fonts
How about this?
Assuming that the image shows up correctly, it's an attempt to simulate a one-pixel thick seven-segment display. I prefer it, I think, to the superbold square font.

Edit: I've figured out how to use attachments!
Here's a link to the file in case you want to see it bigger.

Re: Question about fonts
I made a reminiscence of the HP41 font.
I think it also would also be good for your DM41.
You can use it for free if you want, Michael. I don't claim any rights on that.
Resize it in you browser and it looks not that bad I think it also would also be good for your DM41.
