Re: DM15L - origin of firmware routines ?
All of the DM1x and DM41/L/X machines are in fact emulators running the original HP ROMs, sometimes lightly patched to accomodate the hardware and any extensions provided by SwissMicros. E.g. the DM41/DM41L runs a version of the HP-41CX mainframe patched to accommodate the landscape format keyboard....

Re: DM42 Firmware Update Policy
One qiestion: if Thomas includes a paid version vould we get this paid version also (wuickly) on DM42? Wouldn't mind a yearly or monthly contribution (both to Thomas and Swissmicro's). The paid version of Free42 is a premium product that Thomas Okken will be licensing to individuals. This product w...

DM42 Firmware Update Policy
As you all know, the DM42's firmware is split into the proprietary operating system, DMCP, and the open source Free42 by Thomas Okken. DMCP has now matured to the point where we don't anticipate any further development of new features. If bugs are found then of course they will be fixed. Development...

When you press [alpha] [shift] × (multiplication) it's the multiplication sign × that you get, not an 'X'.
