Re: WP43: Call for Proofreaders
OM 0.25.2 p38 fn33 ASL. Should this perhaps also mention EXIT , which will close input without ASL? p41 ladder example. I believe current ladder safety guidance suggests a 4:1 ratio of wall height to base, which is about 76/14°, quite close to the value you reject as unsafe, for the 29′ ladder. Tha...

Re: Vertical format alternative to DM16L
You're absolutely right. Our objective was not to copy an existing calculator of whatever manufacturer but creating our own. Please see the background information in the Reference Manual.

Re: Vertical format alternative to DM16L
You might take a look at the WP43 - it features everything the HP-16C did plus all the functionality of the WP34S plus the large display of the DM42. Feel free to check its simulator on your PC or Mac.

Slowly approaching the light at the end of the tunnel, also the WP43 Owner's Manual asymptotically crawls to its final version. Thus, whoever is a reliable native English writer ,* please take a close look to the present OM and tell me all the language errors, mistakes, typos, etc. I made. Before yo...

Got a HP-15C CE today
... from the Calculator Store in Barcelona. Unpacking was like Cristmas. The HP-15C Collector's Edition comes in a very appropriate box, showing the calculator in a window under two transparent foils (one had sufficed). Very nice slanted keys with proper tactile feedback, crisp LCD. Very bright yell...

Re: WP43 News
My eyes might be deceiving me, but it looks like the pressure units conversion Pa<->bar is reversed? Thanks for reporting. You're right. That pair of conversions will be corrected asap.* Regarding low voltage: the "official" limit has been 2.5V always but it was seldom checked. * Fixed th...

Re: WP43 time/interval
Please forgive a naive question… Naive questions are best, usually. Am I right in assuming that the calc doesn't differentiate between a clock-time, and a time interval? Yes, you are. It seems that there is only one data type, and the calc adds a postfix "a.m."/"p.m." during dis...
