modes and flags

Hi, I wrote a little program, which "(re-)sets" my DM42 into a known state...just like the state file but without interferring with the current programs. This program has a lot of SF and CF commands and a bunch of mode settings and was written as one of the first programs. With the new A2L...

Difference in handling of NSTCK-stack and 4STCK-stack

Hi, was this intentionally implemented diffently this way? With activated NSTCK in the setup and switched to 4STCK via MODE (stack empty) When I enter 42 ENTER The stack looks like 42 42 After switching to NSTCK via MODE and entering the same sequence at an empty stack I get 42 instead All stacks ar...

Re: What I would like to have ...

Hi, regarding the "clipboard"... One usecase would be: I have a program called "CLEAR" which resets my DM42 to a known state. Same like a status file but without overwriting any programs in memory. Now we have RCLFL and STOFL. RCLFL writes to the stack and STOFL takes the values ...

What I would like to have ...

Hi, first of all: This is by no means a complaint! I *LOVE* my DM42! :) These are just some ideas... a) When using the "delete"-function while editing programs, the cursor hits the upper row of the display. This makes it kind of difficult to see, what get deleted next and one needs to scro...

Re: A bug or a glitch in The Matrix only (because they changed something)...?

Hi Thomas,

it is by no means any problem for me!

I just wanted to say "something" because I was unsure, whether
this would be anything to pay attention to (like the output I got
with my screwed factorial program (LNSTCK)...

Everything is fine an CLLCD is my friend. :)

Cheers!

Re: A bug or a glitch in The Matrix only (because they changed something)...?

Hi,

thanks for all your replies!

I have no problem at all with this behaviour! CLLCD is the way to go.
But I was unsure, whether this may or not may something weird which needs
to be fixed because it looks kinda wierd when first noticed...

Cheers!

A bug or a glitch in The Matrix only (because they changed something)...?

Hi When using this little program: LBL "Gltch" 1 STO "GrMod" 1 1 PIXEL END It displays the HP42s display area above the stack and puts a right pointing filled triangle above a x: 1.00000000000 in BIG LETTERN (font never seen before) into that area. And in the left upper corner th...
