Re: What is the next planned hardware release?

Let's not forget that SwissMicros has produced the WP43 pilot batch - tools for printing keys, bezel, and glass are available (should be at least), the program for laser engraving its rear side as well. Thus, resuming such work will be technically easy. The rest is only software.

Re: Trigonometric/transcendental function accuracy

The underlying problem is known as radian. Each and every angular unit can be reduced properly modulo 360° (or equivalent) except those f...g radians. Only for them the 1065 digits of pi are required. AFAICS radians are necessary (?) for Taylor. Hence the attempt on pp. B-3f to get rid of them using...

While we're at it: please note WA calculates with an infinite number of digits.
Well, probably not an infinite number of digits, that would take a very long time... 8-)
Let's say with n >> 1000. Are you happy now?

Re: Trigonometric/transcendental function accuracy

Hmm, I fear I have entirely failed to explain my reading of the observation! I believe we see here that C47 and WP43 both fall well short of expected accuracy, with an error of thousands of billions of ULPs. That's by comparison with Wolfram Alpha and with Free42. (I mention Free42 only because it'...

Re: New "HP"-15C Collectors Edition

As Bill wrote before, there are simulators available for the calculators recommended, so you can try e.g. a WP43 on your PC for free before buying anything. I vote for gaining some user experience this way - actually I strongly recommend this. By doing this, you'll also get a personal impression of ...

Don't need it - the WP43 does all I want (surprise!) and more. :D

Plenty of open-source have excellent free documentation so you missed your point.
Yes, they all spend their time for free certainly, don't they? Or do you happen to know their business model? Then enlighten me, please. TIA

Re: CAVEAT AVCTOR (WP34S)

Prices for calculators, electronic test equipment, etc. etc. with proper documentation are bundle prices generally, i.e. the company's effort for the documentation is taken into account. Where this doesn't apply, prices may differ. Ahhhh.... this is where I misunderstood. I have never encountered t...
