No measurement, but I looked through the keyboard from the front side with the faceplate removed

Photos are difficult to post on here from my phone and now I've sealed up the calculator again I'm reluctant to open it once more.

It shifted the board to one side slightly. That's all that was needed.

I have solved the button-click issue with my beta model of the DM42. I noticed that the bluster buttons (don't know their technical name) were not quite lined up with the nobble on the underside of the buttons (don't know the technical name of the nobble either). The DM42 and DM15 are different projects with different aims, as far as I can tell. The DM15L is a clone of the HP15c using an emulator. The DM42 uses the the Free42 simulator at its core, but does not seek to emulate nor simulate the HP42s except insomuch that it has broad compatibility with HP42s ...
