Re: Random numbers

For the Moment a TIME SEED RAN might help. Any chance to generate a true random# just with RAN and make SEED obsolete (yet still usable for compatibility reason)? Or are reproducable "random" numbers essential, e.g. for testing code? Bug? I wrote my little "randomseeder" TIME SEE...

Re: Programming confusion

It also would be helpfull to change behaviour while deleting lines. When I press "<-" the lines after the deleted line get renumbered. Good! But the line where the "cursor" is wanders up to top of the display. I'd like to see what's above that line. Right now I have to go up with...

Random numbers

Well, everybody knows how to create same "random numbers" over and over agin: "SEED $samenumberofyourchoice" Does anybody know a better way than 01 LBL "RNDM" 02 DATE 03 TIME 04 * 05 SEED 06 RAN 07 RTN Any more randoms to create a better seed? Thinking about it, maybe 0...

Re: February run of DM-42

I think Michael just has a pile of case backs, and grabs them at random to assemble the calculators for shipment. Anybody here with an even DM42 serial number? I only see odd numbers according to signatures. If we'd combine alternating SNs (some later ordered devices have lower SN) combined with sh...

Re: Programming confusion

So, the larger display makes program entry a bit more complex, and the additional logic that would be required to make the listing look consistent in all situations does not yet exist. This has been discussed here before, so it's a known issue, but since it's a strictly cosmetic one, probably not c...

Programming confusion

When I'm hacking some code into the DM42 v3.3, one thing confuses me: when I instert a line the existing lines don't shift one line down. An example: 01 LBL"XYZ" 02 42 03 + 04 .End. When I want to add 23 I go to line 02 and press 23, but ... Instead, as I expected, after pressing the "...

A few zeppole for me too, thanks! If I order them today when will them be delivered to me? :D I could send you them, but if you come in Sicily we could also order the original ones, I reckon :D Zeppole 3.3, definitely. Salvo From what you wrote I was under the impression that it would take less to ...
