The problem is the extra row. Maybe it could be moved into a soft menu, with an adaptation like the WP43 that gives 2 rows of soft menu (since no blue key for a 3rd). Or using the arrows. Otherwise, unless I missed something it could even be an upgrade to existing DM42. The extra row would be nice,...

Re: Collection of wishes for future SwissMicros products - discussion following Bob Prosperi's HHC 2022 talk

A DM42Plus running Plus42 on the new SOC platform would be nice (if it fits). SM would need to license the Plus42 code from Thomas, perhaps on a royalty basis. I'm releasing the Plus42 source code under GPLv2, just like I do with Free42. All I'm keeping closed source, for now, are the Android and i...

Re: Reproducible crash on version 3.21/3.0.9a

It also closes (crash?) the Free42 on iPhone - but not the Plus42. Ditto on Android and windows. My 64-bit ARM Android phone doesn't seem to crash, but SHOW doesn't show the number properly. It doesn't show the ellipsis to indicate that not all digits all shown. So I see: -5.8739890465303386856 -i2...

Re: Upgraded keypad

Have you tried loosening the screws holding the PCB in place, and/or the "bits of post-it notes on the 'Enter' key dome" trick?

Re: RTC Calibration program

I tried to run this calc after I loaded the raw into my DM42 but I end up with “Invalid Data” after I’ve entered date, drift and previous value. I also ran the raw on the iOS Free42 but ended up with the same Invalid Data. Am I missing something obvious? :) Perhaps you are entering the date in the ...

There isn't much they can do about chip shortages. In particular the lead times on STM32 microcontrollers are horrendous at the moment.

Perhaps the forum could do with one or two more moderators as the existing ones don't seem to be around on the forum much recently.

Re: Size Error

Check the location of the summation registers with the ΣREG? function (shown as ΣRG? in the STATS menu). The default value is 11. It can be changed with the ΣREG nn function.
