Re: How did you discover SwissMicros?

As a RPN nerd I frequently look in the internet if HP brings out new RPN calculators. Googleing for RPN some time ago I saw these SM CC calculators. Nice but it didn't feed my needs (and wants). Finally I found out that SM also offers the L-types - BINGO!

Re: 43S News

I'm wondering why you cannot reassign ON and OFF to where there are today for the DM42 as the HW will support it: ... I'm wondering if the ON key location at the bottom right is compatible with the current DM42 board design or if it will require a new PCB? This was clarified really early. Michael c...

Re: Troubled waters

FYI, there's a discussion elsewhere about the soft/firmware of DM42 -- please see here: http://www.hpmuseum.org/forum/showthread.php?tid=10335&pid=93814&mode=threaded . Things sound serious though IANAL. Personally, I wish SM all possible success on a solid legal base. Oh dear ... Same thin...

Thanks for the pictures. :) Though people could get the impression you play all the time ... ;)
Playing with calculators or reading comics (confirmed by a friend, long time ago when passengers could visit the cockpit) doesn't matter :)

Re: Displaying numbers

Yes, the real HP-42S works this way. (Have you ever encountered a calculator that doesn't work this way?) Well, with the HP35s: FIX 9 1.1 -> 1.100000000 (8 zeros) 10 + -> 11.100000000 (8 zeros) 100 + -> 111.100000000 (8 zeros) Please continue that series. You stopped just before it was going to get...
