Re: New 47-platform design layout R47
We have to go back to the HP-67 to find a similar layout at HP. I've never had the opportunity to touch one. I wonder what users thought of the black key on the right, and why HP made this decision. Perhaps to place the key closer to the edge. I think today's users would be a bit annoyed if they ha...

Re: Solving Integral Equations
The DM15, DM42 and DM32 return different results for some problems due to differing algorithms and internal accuracies therein, just as the HP-15C, -42S and 32Sii differed, for the same reasons. If one works hard enough (and the readers here and at MoHPC do so) one can find a problem that any given ...

Re: When the USB is plugged in does it power the DM41L?
From the "Voyager Series User Manual", (PDF file page 7), "Powering via USB is not supported"

Re: Documenting Programs/ comments in dump/decodes
You should probably also trim the trailing spaces, originally between the last char of the instruction and the start of the comments, as the conversion tool my not be able to swallow those benignly, and a 41's memory cannot contain them.

Re: Documenting Programs/ comments in dump/decodes
No, you can't embed comments in the code which is then sent to the 41C, the 41's memory has no provision for the extra content.
Of course you can extract a program, copy to a text file and keep your comments there, for printing or viewing, but round-trip is not possible.
