Problem sorted quickly by Michael , and luckily as I was going to buy a 15L eventually it's all worked out I guess, I just get them in a different order

also , by the by.... I just thought I'd add it seems to exhibit the same thing with the rubber feet in the first post, the screws fly very close to the table surface

Yesssss I'd buy the suggested DM43 just for the busy plate , it'd for sure make sure no-one would want to borrow it :D :lol: Well not really , I'd buy it cos I like the 43 project ** but I'd want it done in hardware not with sticky labels. Please forgive my ignorance, but I'm a tiny bit confused. Is this WP43S in collaboration with SwissMicros or a homebrew project making use of the DM42 hardware? Interested too in finding out , where this project is going ...... Will it be a DM machine similar to the DM42 ? Using the same base chass...

I assumed there would be a voltage limit with the calculator refusing to work below. Where is it? Processor data sheet says lower supply limit is 1.71v , although the Vbat monitoring is done internally via a divide by 3 network , so I wouldn’t like to rely on it being too accurate .... Anyone actua...

Even adding a small sheet on the inside of the rear steel panel (wouldn't have to be over the whole surface) would help damp any excess noise/resonance from the buttons 'rattling' when being used. It needs some trials A tact switch soldered to the board (compared to a dome directly applied) can't be...

But a (thin foam etc) sheet could be added to damp down any excess noise of operation perhaps.
