Precision of SOLVER ?

In the SOLVER's solution, the difference between the last two approximations obviously depends on the display format set. For SOLVing an INTEGral on DM42 with ALL chosen, said difference may become some 4E-12. This corresponds approximately with what's claimed in the HP-42S manuals - but note the HP...

You should also take a look at C47, if you want that kind of thing, if I may say so!

Re: New "HP"-15C Collectors Edition

Who did the translation to German? Who did the translation to Swedish?? Let me guess google translate did most of them. There seems to be an unlimited confidence in automatic translations in that country where most people never learn any foreign language. Observed already in 1999 - and had a...

@Walter.
Hmm, seems to be an intermittent hiccup here. Just now, I cannot reproduce the freeze.
Program pointer is at 0133:END (in #1 "Prime")
(FWIW, I haven't touched the programs yet).
Thanks, Esben, for verifying. Please see the background in the OM, p. 325/350.

No problem for me.
I suggest you also try a thin space (Unicode: U+2009), but I don’t think the current font has a thin space.
Usually monospaced fonts don’t have it.
The font designed for the WP43 years ago features thin spaces as well.

Re: WP43 Bug Reports and Maintenance

On a fresh reset and only loading my state file. Activating the "TRI" key for trig soft menu. Arrow down freezes the calc. Same when "EXP" key has been activated for exponential soft menu. Also, fiddling within the FLAG menu will occationally freeze if those arrow keys are press...

Re: WP43 Bug Reports and Maintenance

Congratulations to your successful training sessions. ;)

Before loading your state file, can you please check where your program pointer ... points to?

You should have written: 30'0000'0000.
3,00,00,00,000 - majority rules.

Re: C47 Classic single shift, replaces C43 on DM42

Surprising, to me at least, was that the WP 34S did gather some kind of following in China. That's cool! (And of course, if people in countries with other "gapping" rules wish to request support for those, I certainly have no objections.) Very generous attitude indeed. About 3 000 000 000...
