Thanks! I always have rootx(y), logx(y) and y mod x on my calculator, but I'm not sure what to do with the other two free buttons so I usually have random fun stuff there. What's on your calc? As an aside, if you're already using HomeBrew, note that it also has lpc21isp . That's what I'm using, on Mojave, and it's working fine for me. Actually, no, "set noeol" doesn't do the trick. I don't know what that option does, to be honest -- clearly not what I thought. This does work: "set nofixendofline". Just tested it with vim and xxd (using the exact command :%!xxd -p -r) on my Mac, and it works. https://stackoverflow.com/questions/1...

thanks Bob; shame those Samson cases aren't easily available here. Buying from US without an included customs service can result in excess charges being applied at this end (e.g. "handling charge").
