@grsbanks

Will there be a subdirectory feature, as promised in « next release » some times ago in a previous post ?

It would be great when you have 100+ program files to browse.

Re: DM15L keyboard faceplate is separating

So, Voyager series has a serious issue with gluing/faceplate. ... perhaps the issue depends on environmental conditions, or possibly your unit was not cleaned properly during original assembly? Why not give Sylvain's suggestion a try? If the cause is either of the 2 I listed above (or even some oth...

Re: DM15L keyboard faceplate is separating

I had similar issues with several of my DM calculators. (DM42, DM16L & DM41L) I bought a double sided tape that is generally used to keep some pieces together in mobile phones. I am at the office right now, but I will post the detail of the tape tonight. (GMT-5) What I did, was ... remove the facep...

Re: Improved Keyboard????

mezoganet, Very good analysis. But please remember SM actually is a team of two, D & M. That's all. And AFAIK, D is a SW guy and M is a hands on businessman. I've neither met any production guy there so far nor anybody else dealing with quality and process planning on a level you suggest. IMHO, thi...

Re: Improved Keyboard????

The problem has been identified. It seems the metal sheets from which the metal domes were stamped weren't cleaned properly. An oil film prevents reliable contact. The domes and the contact area on the PCB can be cleaned, which significantly improves the reliability. We encourage anybody having suc...

N.B. I sometimes get annoyed at the never-ending flood of updates on my smartphones, too, and after receiving complaints about the spate of updates … complaints? some people are just bloody ungrateful :) thank you for all your hard work. I totally agree : thanks Thomas for your impressive job !

Re: Feature requests

Not to mention: directories, since those flat namespaces for programs and variables can become awkward once you start loading lots of programs... This is really more than important and seems to be so simple to implement. Should have been fixed in « next » release. I don’t know which « next » releas...

Re: The Stack (according to Free42 Manual)

... Fill the stack with 9, 8, 7, 6 (so Z=9 and X=6) Press Roll-down 4 times to verify these contents. Now press 2 ENTER (as he said to do). The stack is now exactly as he said it would be, namely T=7, Z=6, Y=2, and X=2 , with Z and T having been lost. Hem, what you say is untrue as X , Y , Z and T ...

But this begs the question, why would you press [<--] if the stack is already empty? :)
Animal reflex, RPN animal behavior before any computing ?

Remember : a real RPN stack is NEVER empty ;)
