Re: Firmware Update - High current usage

Has there been any progress on a firmware update for those of us who've been hit with high current usage on the latest firmware? I got an email from David last week that DM was working on a software fix, but haven't heard since. I've been testing a beta. If it stays as it is, everybody will be plea...

Re: UPDATE: DMCP-3.11 / DM42-3.11

Okay and that is good advice. Who more has experience with battery life? I mean un-, and re-screwing in a new battery every 2-3 months is not ideal to say the least. Also not mechanically. btw... now down to 2.64V doing nothing but adding up some numbers. Waited 2 minutes and dropped to 2.63V and t...

Re: Keyboard Debouncing - NOOB Question

You can also press EXIT after entering a number, and it will only change the X register without disabling automatic stack lift. I can't think of a situation where that would be useful. It makes entering numbers on the stack behave more like RPL calculators (apart from the limited stack size). I mis...

Re: UPDATE: DMCP-3.11 / DM42-3.11

Was the last sentence written with [irony/on] ? ;) Else please explain. What should I explain, Walter? :? My board (and also some other's, from what I read) didn't exhibit surge drain. With that fix (after reports from others, evidently) my calculator very quickly drains off those tiny cells. Ok, t...

Re: UPDATE: DMCP-3.11 / DM42-3.11

DMCP v3.9 : 2018/08/01 Small number of boards exhibited excessive power-off current - fixed Seems logical that what hampered a few boards drains a few other. Was the last sentence written with [irony/on] ? ;) Else please explain. What should I explain, Walter? :? My board (and also some other's, fr...

Re: UPDATE: DMCP-3.11 / DM42-3.11

I have the same issue. The strange thing is that when it got delivered it lasted 6 Months or so. The only thing which changes is that I started to have some programs loaded onto the FAT drive. Like the DICE program. And that I changed the settings on time/date and font-size. I guess that also in te...
