Updates went painlessly on macOS Catalina.
All my DM1X(L)/DM41(L) calculators (13) are now at v30.

So it is not sure that HP-IL will be supported. To tell you the truth, I was really very very close to hit the "buy button" for a HP41CL + time module + serial cable at 700 Euros... Are you sure ?
