Re: DM42 Firmware V3.3 available

Smooth update from 3.1 to 3.3 as usual. Just the required manual RESET is annoying from my point of view.

Does the rclpixel command exist?
Certainly not since it consists of 8 letters. 8-)

Re: Labels in the XEQ menu

RPN programming was created for "quick and dirty" repetitive solutions. It's simply not designed to be structured in any way. Usually, RPN programs were 100 steps maximum, maybe more recently. Due to the lack of I/O, howver, noone was willing to key in longer code. This doesn't solve your problem bu...

Re: Wish List - sub forum?

As mentioned in another thread already, I vote for a separate sub-forum for such wishes, i.e. for features beyond the present function set of the 42. This may become a pool wherein SM may fish for a hypothetical future calculator ... ;)

I sincerely hope you once learned a programming language not only by doing.
Your concern for me is touching, Walter, I appreciate the sentiment :).
You're welcome.

I don't have time nor I'm a mathematican with a "Random" Degree :D but this looks strange to me.

Re: ON and off (images)

Yes! I'd need a color screen, though! That's feature creep no more, that's feature rush!  Heh heh! Not to worry. The 12 GHz, 512-core processor that runs for three weeks on one charge that I want in the new unit should be able to handle the extra load of a color screen. Do you ne...

Re: Permanent unexitable CUSTOM menu

That sounds like very basic misunderstandings. Here are the facts: As grsbanks wrote, XEQ calls a subroutine and RTN returns from this subroutine. GTO, on the other hand, is a command which shall be forbidden in structured programming. It simply jumps around. No return address is stored, so a RTN ca...
