Re: [POLL] Compiler for DM15L ?

If possible, I'd go for Lua -- small and lean VM, JIT compilation is available for ARM CPUs and it is fast (even without that).
It's also a very simple but expressive language.

Re: DM42 program with EVERY instruction?

Look at the Free42 source code?

For import/export it uses an extension of the HP-41 coding.
Internally, it is very different.

Re: Little Problem with Complex Mathematics on Calculators

While there is an infinite number of integer values, it seems logical that the also infinite number of rational numbers is larger, and real numbers larger still. It isn't logical. There are the same number of rational numbers as there are integers, this we proved by Cantor. There are more real numb...

Re: Small program to print all XTOA caracters on the printer

I just noticed that the original program omits the divide character (#0).

Re: Small program to print all XTOA caracters on the printer

Inspired by this program, I've done one that prints the characters out in a 16 by 16 grid. Attached.

Re: 43S News

I agree, we don't need a combined integer division and remainder on the keyboard . Having such a function on the device might be handy because many CPUs have it. The 16C was a programmer's calculator after all. Still, it will be easy to implement as a user function. About a dozen lines on the 34S in...

Re: DM42 vs DM43S

The current solver is a keystroke program fairly close to how the calculator is programmed: https://sourceforge.net/p/wp34s/code/HEAD/tree/trunk/xrom/solve.wp34s The main differences in this case are that: the user's function is called using the sequence XEQUSR immediately followed by POPUSR the sta...

Re: DM42 vs DM43S

The thing I dislike the most about the wp34s is the lack of a built in MISO solver. Feel free to donate such a solver to the 34S project. I'm sure a keystroke program would make the standard library. It might make XROM with enough care. A C implementation including the ancillaries, would most likel...
