Re: Keyboard debouncing

I have the same problem, every now and then, I hit the #3 key and it doubles. It is very rare so I don't worry to much about it. I did turn off the fast auto-repeat. The 3 key is the culprit most of the time on my calculator as well, but I've seen it happen with ENTER as well. Whether I enable fast...

Re: DM42

(Delurking after going through the forum after a break of a few months.) Just realized that I might have something useful to post here: a constant library I started myself a while ago that does away with (some of) the uncertainties as to what constant means what and what the associated unit is. The ...

Re: DM42 Firmware V3.5 available

Walter is correct, All surprises. Very reassuring. I was just confused by your post saying you "will" have certain trouble on the simulated leg from Beijing to Toronto. The pictures: wow, you really have a few gems there. I must say those LED types fit rather better into a flightdeck with...

Re: DM42 Firmware V3.5 available or down the windows rabbit hole!

now back to the books on the "plastic fantastic" aka the B787-800/900. will get some shots of the dm42 from the left seat of the cockpit. Congrats, looks like you'll soon be PIC of a heavy jet. All those scenarios you train for sound rather scary, but it looks like you were prepared for a...

Re: DM42 Firmware V3.5 available

The update itself went without trouble, but the DM42 crashed during the saving of the state file, which effectively erased everything I have ever done. Luckily, I saved most of my programs to flash and the PC, so not too much of a disaster in the end. So, did this happen after you made the update ?...

My first crash...

For the first time since I've had the DM42 (beta), it crashed on me today (the display froze during program execution, rendering all keys non-responsive), and right at the moment I didn't have a paper clip at hand. Anyway, after pushing the reset button, it said something about crashing in a protect...

Re: program editor line-insertion issue

Thanks, Thomas, for the insight. In your last sentence, you say "when", but as it stands, I think an "if" in its place would be more realistic. I still hope, however, that they do release the code one day.
