Re: Display not updated in multiline PRGM mode

I ran across this bug in the production version of the DM41X (firmware v.3.20). When I highlighted the last line of a program ".END. REG 209" and then entered <shift> VIEW, nothing shows up. Since it's waiting for two digits, it just sits there until you hit the back key, or two digits. It...

Re: DM41X V1.15 / DMCP V3.20

So Bob....do I win a coffee mug for finding a bug??! LOL. jk. Interesting that the DM41X(beta), using the same firmware, behaves differently from the production version of the DM41X. This leads me to believe there is a hardware difference of some sort. So is there a firmware branch between the DM41X...

Re: DM41X V1.15 / DMCP V3.20

I just updated my DM41X to ver. 1.15. Now I see small, dashed lines, under the space between the digits when I hit enter. Not every digit position is affected. Is this an indication of some new mode with this DM41X? If I turn the DM41X off and back on the small lines disappear, but they return once ...

Re: New Manual?

The link to the DM41X pdf manual does not work (9/26/2020) and gives a 404 error. Is there another link or another location for the pdf copy?

Re: Announcment regarding shift-Key Color Wear

As I use my DM42 and my DM41X(beta), I see the nice, solid yellow shift key on my DM42 and then I see my poorly painted yellow key on my DM41X. Clearly my micro-painting skills were not up to the task after the original yellow paint wore off the yellow shift key. I am wondering if there is any hope ...

Re: DM41X Beta Programme

Eric Rechlin's HHC2019 USB stick contains an updated copy of the hp41.org content, current as of August 22, 2019. Along with masses of other great stuff. https://commerce.hpcalc.org/hhcusb.php Eric is a master librarian and keeps an amazing repository for everything HP. Definitely worth the $$$ to ...

Re: DM41X Beta Programme

The only files I could find for the 41X are at https://www.swissmicros.com/dm41x/ and the PPC.MOD file is at: www.hp41.org/mod/ If the ones you want aren't there then you'd have to contact D or M directly, I guess. Thanks Tom. Good link. I've downloaded the OFFIMG files and put them into the DM41X ...

Re: DM41X Beta Programme

As I was downloading some MODs for my HP41X, I somehow managed to lock up my calculator. No key would bring it back to the home screen. After pushing the reset on the back, I wiped out all of my other files, with the exception of the OS. I downloaded the DMCP_flash3.17t01_DM41-1.11t01.bin, and refla...

Re: DM41X Beta Programme

I noticed that there is no menu item in the SETUP menu to delete a .raw file from the DM41X calculator FAT disk. You can LOAD or SAVE a .raw program to the FAT disk, but you cannot delete by using the calculator menu in SETUP. If you make a file name mistake, it would be nice to delete and/or rename...
