Re: Imperial gallons

I know it´s a bit off-topic here, but I always have a still laugh when it comes to Gallons with respect to the fact that U.S. Gallon is defined as the volume of a cylinder 6 inches deep and 7 inches in diameter, assuming Pi=22/7 (thus 231 in³).

Re: Dumbinb down or change of focus?

The movie Idiocracy should be projected in classrooms. Yes, the humor is lame but it’s at their level. By God, I had never thought I will given a film suggestion in this forum. Thus, yesterday evening with my SO away on business I fetched this film by video on demand and had a really good laugh. Un...

Unfortunately, neither in the manual, nor (according to google) anywhere else is explained what hwid=[0|1] means. :(

Educated guess: hwid = Hardware ID. But how to detect, which hwid has a DM42, and what's the difference between 0 and 1?

There wouldn't have been any import duty on the calculator if you'd bought it direct from Swiss Micros. ... Michael deliberately puts a low value on the customs declaration specifically to avoid subjecting customers to the hassle and extra cost. That didn't help with German Customs - they collected...

No special need for a function since conversion deg <-> grad is done by multiplying with or dividing by 0.9?
