@Bob: I just wanted to add a keyword making life easier for Michael looking for 'Michael'. ;)
Exactly right, I did the same for the same reason. :)

Re: 43S News

How about providing coloured shift keys in the shipping box? Then one can manually replace them when receiving the unit, should one wish so :) Clever idea! I'd say that's thinking outside the box, but in this case it's inside the box. @Walter - As far as who the comments are directed to, I'm really...

Re: 43S News

One can think about printing a coloured frame around the prefix keys if printed prefix key colours should turn out being significantly less than permanent. The present yellow key is 'assembled' into the keys sprue. Michael doesn't want to do this again. Hope this answers some questions. I can under...

Re: 43S News

Prefix key colours must be printed (the keys can't be executed monochrome for technological reasons). Does this mean the [f] and [g] keys will be painted yellow and blue, rather than molded in the respective colors? It seems at least a yellow key should be available, since there is one now, right? ...

Re: Keyboard debouncing

For a calculator of such overall quality (and this sort of price), I'd really expect the manufacturer to fix this issue. Or release the code so we can do it ourselves. Why hasn't this been addressed already? This problem appears to be present in only a very small number of units, seems like less th...

Re: Updating from 3.3 to 3.10

Good News Everyone!!! I de-installed the driver and re-installed. Although it reported 'Other error' at the end of the install, the DM now shows in File Manager!!! Great, glad you got this resolved; seems like the numworks installation somehow hosed some of your windows drivers!?!? And thanks for c...

Re: Keyboard debouncing

Another use for "Exit" - it reformats the number you've just typed into the current display format without lifting the stack afterwards. Still don't quite see the point of that I do. It's actually something I do often enough that it has become automatic to press X<>Y X<>Y in that situation. It neve...

Re: UPDATE: DMCP-3.11 / DM42-3.11

I just installed DM42 V3.11 on DMCP v3.10 via load-program-from-flash, on production unit 00282. No hiccups or problems to report. I usually leave the Voltage display set to OFF, but I enabled it due to the bug that seems to affect some units using DMCP 3.10. My voltage was initially at 2.97V, and t...

Re: Battery life

Can not even switch on the check the FW now... So need 1. a new battery, 2. connect it to USB, 3. check FW and then the upgrade process. Something is strange since I did not have this for months and now "suddenly" it eats CR2032 as if it is nothing. It should run off USB power, even with dead batte...
