Re: Battery life

I too have the original battery (first batch from release day), and it's still full and good voltage. Admittedly, I only use it a few times a month, but do update to latest firmware nearly every release. Could later batches have worse battery life, or if it is just a few in between? Actually my HP12...

Re: DM42 skin for the Free42 simulator

It's maybe not too bad, but the final apk was about 11 MB, and my own library was less than 1 MB. Here are the libs I linked with (April 2018): 3,636,180 libQt5Core.so 2,639,036 libQt5Gui.so 746,756 libQt5Network.so 2,041,916 libQt5Qml.so 2,284,196 libQt5Quick.so I havent used Flutter myself, but I ...

Re: DM42 skin for the Free42 simulator

Having said that, I do intend to port Free42 to the Qt toolkit. This is mainly a learning exercise: I want to know more about Qt, and porting some real-world code to it is a great way to learn how to use it and what its strengths and weaknesses are. But the real benefit, if I do complete that port,...

Re: UPDATE: DMCP-3.13 / DM42-3.13

I got confused by this, but yes the dm_tool worked after I reinstalled the libusb 1.2.6.0 driver. So next time I assume the FAT uppgrade will work. Thank you so much.

Re: UPDATE: DMCP-3.13 / DM42-3.13

I still have the freezing problem. I upgraded from 3.5 to 3.12 as you and it worked fine, but now the Load Flash from FAT menu freezes. I tried dm_tool, but it doesn't finds any DFU devices when entering bootloader.

Re: Keyboard debouncing

I think we should still keep this topic warm, because the problem remains for me on some number keys, although rarely. I have sample SN: 356. I recently updated the FW straight from 3.5 to 3.12, and I noticed it more often - although I also did the "key softening" routine and use the calcu...

Re: Help! how to remove libusb-win32 drivers on Windows 10

You can't do it with device manager. I happen to have the exact same problem but found a solution. Use the Device Cleanup Tool at: https://www.uwe-sieber.de/misc_tools_e.html Make sure to run it in Admin mode (or File -> Restart in Admin). I removed both the two STM drivers and the SwissMic DM42 USB...

Re: Off Image Display Order

They are displayed in raw directory order. If you delete files, it leaves empty spaces in the directory that can be filled by new files. (It's a little more complicated than that, because with VFAT, directory entries are variable length. So when a new file is added to the directory, it needs to fin...
