Re: Edit Help file from DM42

Thank you indeed for the answer. Unfortunately I don't have much time to experiment right now so I'll wait for the documentation when it is released as you advise me.

Edit Help file from DM42

Good afternoon, everybody. I´d like to change the help file to include other information besides the calculator help but I don´t know how to insert UTF-8 characters in the document to better express some math formulas. I have tried several things as typing &#decimal code of the character in Note...

Re: DM15L degrees issue

Thank you, guys, after a power reset which finished with a Pr Error message is working right. It probably was in complex mode as Thomas guessed. I am kind of embarrassed but for sure it is not the calculator I am used to, and besides I allowed my toddler to mess with it this afternoon although only ...

DM15L degrees issue

Good evening, fellow collectors and users, I recently bought a DM15L and being a complete newbie to the machine I am puzzled because when setting it to degrees DEG I get different answers for sine and cosine of 45 degrees. Is there any known issue about this topic in any of the firmwares? What can I...

Re: buttons that don't register well

Can anybody check if it is normal that the plastic layer of the keyboard is missing some of the small sticking out cylinders which fit into the holes on the PCB? This is a photo of mine. https://ibb.co/dJ6uvR When I fit the PCB onto the keyboard yesterday I noticed some of them were missing. Kind re...

Re: buttons that don't register well

Oh, thank you both of you. So it is not an specific screw which regulates the behaviour of the Enter key but the two ones attaching the PCB to the case. I misunderstood the whole thing.

Since there is no need to release the LCD cable, nor to remove the foil I'll give it a try.

Kind regards

Re: buttons that don't register well

Sorry, but where that screw is exactly. Under the first plastic layer of the keyboard, you have the domes and the contacts on one side of the PCB. Do I have to remove the foil and clear the dome to see the screw?

Thank you, in advance, for your support!

kind regards,

Javier

Re: buttons that don't register well

I have just opened my calculator and cleaned the contacts and domes of two of the keys. I used what I had at hand 96% alcohol for injuries. It worked nicely. Now they work in the right way without any extra force needed. I keep having problems with the Enter key. Only works right on its left side. O...

Re: My Calculator DM42 ist arrived ;-)

Thank you, sirs. Maybe then the ON should be written in white to keep the color logic of the keyboard. It's kind of misleading to picture it in yellow.

Kind regards,
