Regarding the question about a DM41X not running under NUT emulation, basically no, that won't happen. Redeveloping the 41CX from scratch is not a trivial task, in fact it's not even a large task, it's a huge, risky task, for no effective benefit, except being somewhat. Except being somewhat what? ...

Ok, the WP 34S got local registers in 2011, Free42 got local variables now. Beyond the difference between registers and variables, is there anything else? Just for curiosity... I like that much better, and think MOD on / with RMD makes good sense.

PS I also think the 2 on x^2 is too large compared to the x of y^x, though the improved JM version didn't convince me either as optically the 2 still seems off. Perhaps between the two?

I (greatly) prefer the new suggested order rationalizing the alphabetic letter grid in the lower portion with NOPQ and Z being moved. Also, why is the [f] I the up arrow and [f] M the down arrow (and not [f] K? And given those special characters are [f] shifted, why are the less than equal and print...

Just got mine, so far all I've noticed is the left side of the Enter key doesn't really depress or click, but still performs function. Other keys seem fine, though the shift key doesn't fit too well in hole (showing key struts).

Mine came with firmware v3.3 but I didn't see an announcement notice.
