Re: Dumbinb down or change of focus?
I am blown away by the following: How well written the manual is. The number and complexity of concepts discussed in the manual: Stack usage, memory allocation, indirect access, flags, Horner's method, variable scaling for linear regression, least squares (including LU decomposition and taking a re...

Re: 43S News
I prefer (a). Actually, I wonder about the practicality of implementing something like a format string. Something that can take 2.936 in the X register and display it as £3/1/7+3⁄4 Preference recorded. I don't comprehend your last sentence though. Please elaborate. TIA Right, well it's reasonable t...

[DM41 V32] ED display flashing alternate format
The ED display periodically flashes an alternate format... What appears to happen when the text does not overflow is that the display becomes right-justified for a fraction of a second, and then switches back to a normal display. Once it overflows, it appears to quickly flash a version where the lin...

Re: Shipments and Tracking
In my case, I did get the pandemic version of registered mail delivery, but the tracking status still looks pretty much identical to the package that never arrived. And I suppose there's merit to that consistency, because the package that "never arrived" actually just arrived. 104 days af...

Re: A few suggestions to improve the hardware DM41.
The plastic between the LCD and the transparent keypad window is not necessary, it also creates problems by sticking to the LCD and giving a water print underneath due to sticking. I have removed it. Hi agusDM41, I'm wondering if I might be experiencing this issue... Were you seeing something like ...

Re: Shipments and Tracking
FWIW, the package arrived today, five days after arriving in the USA and 28 days after it shipped from Switzerland. It was listed as registered mail, however, the postal carrier delivered it in my mail slot w/o requesting a signature while stating on the tracking record that it had been "left ...

Re: Shipments and Tracking
That's good to hear. It's unfortunate that the vendor has to eat the cost of sending replacements when items get lost in transit, but it's the right way to do business. Good for them. Maybe you could update again when you received the calculator. Received my replacement order today (20 days)... One...

Re: Credit card sized models
I think it would be an improvement to the website if it was clear what was included with the order. I'm assuming they come with cases, since it isn't possible to order cases separately. Does the DM41 still have the additional keyboard overlays? To answer my own question, they now come with black le...
