Re: buttons that don't register well

Hi, I had some kind of a partly sucessful hack of some sort ... (being careful here... ;) I measured the resistance of the foam on the battery holder...infinite high. So I think its purpose has nothing to do with grounding static electricity. To get rid of one point where the PCB may get bend due to...

Re: buttons that don't register well

Hi,

I think it's not the ENTER button...the hole thing
isn't plane as it seems to me.
On the lower part of that photo take a look
at the "STO"-button and compare it with the
"R(down)"-button for example...

Only my two buttons...your buttons may vary... ;)

Cheers!

Re: The Solver and the Golden Ratio / Golden Cut

Hi ijabbott,

OH YES! Thanks a lot...until now, I thought the X-value (as the the "x" in f(x)) is
also in the x-register of the stack when the function is called, which should
be solved.
Seems not to be the case.
Thanks for the hint -- now it works as exspected (tm) :) !

Cheers

The Solver and the Golden Ratio / Golden Cut

HI, The Golden Ratio describes the relation of two parts of something to the sum of it: A + B = C B / A = C / B after some calculation one will find that A / B = B / C = 5,SQRT,1,-,2,/ = 0.6180.... = g One interesting property of the value of the Golden Ratio is the following: g,1/x=g,1,+ ...so I th...

Re: buttons that don't register well

Hi Michael, thanks a lot for the investigation and the solution! We will ENTER an new era of ENTERtainment (just playing with words, there is no hidden something "between the lines" :)) A question: When opening the back and closing the back again, there is always a certain amount of pressure needed ...

Solver and the GAMMA function

Hi, is this a glitch in the Matrix? LBL "f" MVAR "x" RCL "x" GAMMA 10 - .END. After calling "f" via the solver I did 0 "x" 10 "x" "x" and got 4.39007765083.... then EXIT EXIT to go back to the "desktop" :) and CLST then same procedure as last year, Miss Sophie and 0 "x" 100 "x" "x" ...results in 50....

If the RADiation is not strong enough you need some DEGree of GRADitude right now, isn't it?

Hi, ok...it is late and I feel somehow fuzzy... With our beloved DM42 there are three modes: DEG, RAD and GRAD. To convert from DEG to RAD use: use mode DEG and then ->RAD RAD to DEG use: use mode RAD and then ->DEG GRAD to DEG use: use mode GRAD and then ->DEG GRAD to RAD use: use mode RAD and then...

Re: buttons that don't register well

Hi prasad22, you're not dumb! :) You simply came across a new topic the first time...that's all. :) "Tactile feedback" in the context of keyboards and keys means: Close your eyes. Press the key. At the certain point you feel first a arise of force needed to achieve any little movement of the key and...
