My DMA sounds like Every DMxxxx SwissMicros GmbH will makes...

This seems to remind me some famous poet (???) of the late seventies ... Every core you take Every code you make Every switch you break Every path you take I'll be watching you Every single day Every byte you clay Every scan you play Every task you lay I'll be watching you Oh can't you see You will ...

Re: Alarm Functions in DM42 request

This topic has been discussed before on this forum. Not in as much depth as it could be, but still, look here: https://forum.swissmicros.com/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=2217 Good luck with your health issues! Thank you very much, and I took note of it. It seems that this is what is at stake in the complex...

Re: ? DM42 as Alarm Clock ?

I'm afraid not. Many of the functions in the HP-41C Time Module were ported to Free42 but sadly, alarm functions are not among them. Hello: Apologies if this has been covered already. Can the DM42 be used as an alarm clock - ie waking me at 530am every weekday morning? (I use my HP48 quite regularl...

Re: ? DM42 as Alarm Clock ?

It's probably technically feasible on the DM42 from a hardware point of view (using the STM32's RTC alarm capabilities), but probably a lot of effort from a software point of view. I do confirm this point (two alarm programmable, but in very low level (hardware = ARM ST32L476) https://www.st.com/re...

Do not miss that one too .... https://www.hpmuseum.org/hp10.htm Yes, with 90 different two-digit numbers to choose from, HP have re-used some of them several times over, confusing collectors forevermore. :D Yes I've saw this one too, very old micro computing for office purpose (I suppose by the pre...

Re: Alarm Functions in DM42 request

some other "blind" investigations... About the XYZALM function of the HP41C[V]+TimeModule or the HP-41CX , I confirm that the original behavior implemented by Hewlett-Packard is one to cause a "strong" interruption and able to deliver a message in date+time+seconde (with repeat delay possibilities) ...

Re: Alarm Functions in DM42 request

it seems that it is Hewlett-Packard's themself have left out the scheduling of hardware interrupt at the use of calling program/function or simply messages with snooze (TONE] when they conceived the new HP-42S, on other basis and mostly oriented for calculations (my hypothesys) IDK(!) But against XY...

Re: Attention collectors!

I'm not sure anymore, because I saw that the HP-10bII machine is a " financial " calculator, but the wiki talks about other RPN-scientific model , so at random, I vote yes, because it's an object of collection, but it seems to me not priority. I just like a kind of disgust for HP "financial" becaus...
