Re: WP43: FAT Benefits (Poll!)

Whoever votes for thermal paper printout, please tell me your reason(s). Thanks in advance. needed: no wanted: yes We all are no virtual beings and personally a printed result on paper is just more "physical" to me. Therefore, as a side note, HP-19C is one of my all time favorites. Printi...

Re: UPDATE: DMCP-3.9a / DM42-3.9.1 / dm_tool-2.4

Still no problems here. I have Firmware version 3.5...Would the #3 combined Binary work with that version via the FAT USB drive update option?...(I presume one still uses the option "Flash Firmware from USB even with the combined file...) Did exactly that last week. Worked perfectly. Me too (la...

Re: DM 41L Battery life

Hello Markus, I have same problem with one DM41 (without "L", but internal electronics is most probably same, as there is no seperate "L" firmware). It's (measured) standby current in switch off state is at normal CR2032 voltage of 3V more than 100 times higher as given in datash...

Re: DM41 ALMCAT function

When storing some alarms using function XYZALM and entering ALMCAT mode afterwards (XEQ ALPHA ALMCAT ALPHA, pressing R/S immediately) following keys do not react in any way: T, R, Shift-T, SST, Shift-BST As message (pressing M) always 00:00.00 is displayed. Follwing keys work as expected: D, Shift-...

Re: [DM41] Quick Reference Card available...

Really nice. I would be in for a coated and folded version. Moreover I like the idea of an additional different version: laminated card in A6/C6 size.

Besides that for special characters in alpha mode sometimes [f] key is mentioned sometimes not on first side: perfect! :)

Re: DM-15, reset fault

4 keys in a row side by side. Seems to be a keyboard matrix problem. If it was right from the beginning I would guess a short cut on calculator's mainboard.

DM41 ALMCAT function

What I like most of DM41(L) is fully integrated time module and time module functions. When playing round with DM41 alarm clock functions I realized some minor display problems in ALMCAT mode. Here is a short description taken from manual: When you want to closely examine the Alarm Catalog listing, ...
