I installed the latest firmware and seem to have no more bouncing issues... so far! Others ?
Seems like it's working well so far. If I try really hard, I can press a key fast enough that it ignores the second press. So it seems like the cool-off time is set to a good value.

Re: UPDATE: DMCP-3.15

So far so good! Two-key rollover response feels much improved compared to 3.14. But I have another small bug report: you forgot to give this minor firmware update version number 3.142. ;) Are you trying to say that this update is irrational?    On the contrary, it is unacceptab...

Re: UPDATE: DMCP-3.14 / DM42-3.14

I'm noticing some issues with two-key rollover responsiveness in 3.14. For example, try typing 150 really fast, and there's a good chance the 0 will be missed. I don't recall having this issue with 3.13. Anybody else seeing this? The reworked keyboard code shouldn't have any effect on that specific...

Re: Spreadsheet App for DM42

That's the "append alpha" indicator, i.e. Shift Alpha Enter (or Shift Enter Enter). That line just appends an equal sign to the alpha register. Note that isn't a complete program, but it could be used as the basis for something. Out of curiosity, have you tried the HP palmtops? Lotus 1-2-3 and the H...

Re: Spreadsheet App for DM42

What you describe wouldn't be too hard to implement, at least with only a single line/variable visible at once. Create a one-column matrix with all the variable names stored as strings, and INDEX it. Set up a menu with just the Up and Down arrow keys assigned, using KEY GTO routines that just do I+ ...

Re: Leather Case for DM42

I have recently found a very nice leather case for the DM42. A robust & well made leather holder with belt loop. It is an Australian Buckaroo Leatherworks MPPX case. Hey, now I can wear my calculator on my belt again. Just like back in the '70s when I was a nerd! WAS a Nerd?! You say that like it i...

Re: Displaying images (not OFFIMGs)

If you hit Shift-Catalog, MEM, I think you'll see why it's choking on a 146 KB program import. ;)

Re: Benchmark Speed?

Very weird. Is Free42 making some kind of blocking syscall that's much slower/more complex on newer operating systems?
