Re: C47 TVM
You're right, it's a way of calculating the effective rate that certainly works. I was just wondering if it was possible to add a variable to the TVM. If HP Prime can take it into account, why not C47? Now, maybe that would involve some special difficulties that I don't know about. Pauli, you told m...

Re: C47 TVM
In Canada, for example, interest is calculated bi-annually for all mortgages, hence my request. I remember that the HP-12C manual referred to this and showed how to calculate the effective interest rate that could be used to calculate payments if interest were calculated twice a year.

Re: C47 TVM
No, Per/a is used to set the number of periods per year for calculating a payment, for example. As far as I know, this variable is not used to define the number of interest compounding periods.

C47 TVM

For example, some calculations require compound interest to be calculated 2 times a year. It is of course pos...

Re: 43S Alternative key layout --> WP43C
Although I agree that the % key can easily be replaced by an easy calculation, the fact remains that I have become accustomed over the years to using it as it is when I need it. This key exists on the keyboard of a very large number of HP calculators, why remove it here? Because it is not considered...

Re: 43S News
I think I have identified a bug that I want to submit to you.
When I loaded the pgm file into my DM42, I noticed that when I accessed the Info menu and wanted to know the battery status, I got the value -NaN999... . It doesn't work on the emulator either.
Regards,
Patrick
